You will see that the contractor for the war memorial is now on site and ready to begin.
This will cause some disruption but the repairs are much needed.

I have been allowed to forward this information onwards.
The Hot Chilli Restaurant had a sizeable amount of cash taken from them sometime this morning.
The Police have been informed and a case number raised, however they didn't have any CCTV cameras inside the Restaurant.
If you happened to see anything around there this morning or even have any camera footage that maybe of use, please do get in touch with Mohammed.

We could really use a few extra pairs of hands at Ford Pawb tomorrow.

We’re looking for volunteers at the following times:

* 10am - 4pm – helping with general set-up and daytime activities
* 3pm - 6pm – kitchen prep
* 5pm - 8pm – welcoming guests, serving food, clearing tables and washing up

No experience is needed! Even if you can only spare an hour or two, we’d really appreciate your help.

This comes into effect 28 September and there are no exemptions and covers both Stena and Irish Ferries.

Our local RBL branch organises a Remembrance event on board and this year it is Sat 7 November, so passports will be required for ALL attendees.
