Clackmannanshire Works A service helping local people who are looking to get into work or progress in employment.

Clackmannanshire Works is a local employability service designed to help people living in Clackmannanshire who are looking to get into work or progress in employment, as well as assist local businesses to develop and support local people with jobs and training. Established in 2008, Clackmannanshire Works has provided support to thousands of local people between the ages of 16 and 67 years old. The

y include school leavers looking for work experience or apprenticeships, unemployed adults of working age who need support to overcome a range of barriers to employment, and parents who need to increase their income either through supporting them into work or increasing their wages and/or hours. We offer one to one support from a team of trained Key Workers, who will assess where you are in the job market, where would you like to be and help plan how we can help you get there. Our Key Workers cover all areas of Clackmannanshire and will meet with you in community settings which are convenient to where you live. We also have a Job Broker who works closely with our Key Workers to help find voluntary work, work experience and paid employment with local employers and help prepare you to take up these opportunities. Together, they will give practical help supporting you to create a professional CV and help with interview techniques, communication skills and personal presentation. The support offered is tailored to meet your individual needs and also includes:

• Specialist money and benefits advice
• Basic IT skills
• Help with building confidence and self-esteem
• Access to certificated training including industry specific qualifications
• Advice on career options to suit your skills, strengths and interests
• Help with travel costs to attend training and job interviews
• Help with clothes for interview or starting a job
• Support to find affordable and flexible childcare and access to short-term financial help with childcare costs

🌿 Could you help shape the future of community?

We are delighted to be recruiting a Rural Community Activation Coordinator to join Resonate Together at Carsebridge Cultural Campus.

We are looking for someone who already understands community.

Someone who enjoys bringing people together, knows how to build trusted relationships and can turn ideas into action.

Someone who can take ownership, create momentum and help grow opportunities for people across Clackmannanshire to connect, contribute and play an active part in their community.

This is a fixed-term freelance contract of up to £20,000, running from approximately September 2026 to March 2027.

It is an opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated community practitioner to help us grow participation, strengthen partnerships, support volunteers and develop activity at Carsebridge and across our wider community.

And although this is initially a funded contract, we are thinking beyond March. If we find the right person and can demonstrate the impact of the role, we want to explore how it might develop as Resonate Together continues to grow.

Every person has something valuable to contribute.

Clackmannanshire Access Panel are on the look out for an Admin Support Volunteer to provide some assistance to their Secretary and general administrative processes.

With a minimal commitment of 5-6 hours per month and attendance at meetings every third Tuesday of the month, this is the perfect opportunity to fit around other commitment.
