Recently, team members from RAF Boulmer’s Station Delivery Squadron were at RAF Association Rothbury House to help celebrate Armed Forces Day with the local community!

It was a brilliant day bringing residents, visitors and supporters together to say a big thank you to serving personnel, veterans and their families. Our volunteers gave up their time throughout the day to help things run smoothly and make sure everyone had a great time.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Rothbury House is run by the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) and offers independent living, retirement accommodation, and a real sense of community for RAF veterans here in Northumberland.

Days like this really strengthen the bond between RAF Boulmer, RAFA and the community around us, all pulling together to support those who’ve served.
