We're halfway through the school holidays and let's be honest, everyone needs to get outdoors by now.

A Safari gets you out of the house for a good few hours you’ll see deer, ancient hillforts, big views, and a Traxter ride the kids will talk about for weeks. Add a stop at Ingram Café afterwards and that's your day sorted.

Our stags have finished growing this year's antlers. Now they're getting them ready for autumn. Through August, the velvet that's covered and fed the antlers all summer starts to dry out, and the stags rub it off against trees and bracken.

Give it a few weeks and they'll be left with clean, hardened antlers, ready for the rut.
