Royal Air Force Air Cadets in Bordon is recruiting both new cadets and adult volunteer staff to join our growing squadron.
Whether you’re a young person looking for exciting experiences, or an adult wanting to give back to the community, there’s a place for you with us.
For Young People (Cadets)
Open to ages 12–17, cadets can take part in activities including:
Flying and gliding
Fieldcraft and adventure training
Shooting and sports
Leadership and teamwork
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
First aid training
Camps and international opportunities
No military commitment required — just enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to get involved.
You’ll gain confidence, qualifications, friendships, and experiences that stand out on CVs, college, and university applications.
For Adult Volunteers (Staff)
We are also looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers to support and inspire the next generation.
No military experience is needed — full training is provided.
Volunteer roles may include:
Helping run parade nights
Supporting activities and events
Mentoring cadets
Administration and organisation
Teaching practical skills
Assisting with camps and community projects
Volunteering with the Air Cadets is rewarding, flexible, and a fantastic way to develop new skills while making a real difference in your local community.
