Here is a thing me amd Mum have started last year. We have been making poppies to have a display in the vending huts for remeberance day. This is my stach that I have made. If anyone or groups of crafters would like to send in more wool poppies to add to the display. We would love to keep adding to our supply to make it bigger amd better each year.
It has to be said last years effort was tiny as we only thought of it a few weeks before remembrance day.

Kim McGuinness- North East Mayor is consulting on plans for bus franchising, which could see greater public control over fares, routes, timetables and service standards here in North Northumberland.

I regularly hear reports from residents about our buses, whether it's an unreliable service, cross-border issues, or the lack of options in our rural communities. This consultation is a chance to make sure those concerns are heard and to help shape future services.

UPDATE:Power is now restored in High Hauxley

A noisy night in the village as Powergrid worked to restore power. Unfortunately the fault was underground and required extensive works to reach it. Thanks to residents that offered their help.
