Our Visits Team will be hosting Lifeboat Visits on the following dates during June where you will be able to come in and see our D-class inshore lifeboat Akira and have an external visit to view our Shannon all-weather lifeboat Robert and Catherine Steen.

Entry is free and there is no requirement to book for these open visits, just turn up between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on the following dates and our Visits Team will be delighted to host you and tell you about our lifeboats and how we go about saving lives at sea along the East Neuk of Fife.

07, 13, 14, 20, 21 & 27 June

These visits are designed as casual, drop-in visits to enable as many supporters as possible the opportunity to come and see our lifeboats. However, if you are planning to travel long distances, or if you would prefer to have a private individual, family or group visit, you can arrange a full Station Tour, which will give you a personalised tour of our lifeboat station.

To arrange a Station Tour, please contact our Lifeboat Visits Officer, Simon Full, by emailing [email protected] and we will do our utmost to fit in with your travel plans.

Anstruther RNLI Visits Team look forward to hosting you!

Work continues on our new lifeboat station!

Here you can see concrete being poured to form the retaining wall. The retaining wall will play a vital role in supporting the structure and surrounding groundworks, helping prepare the site for the next phases of development.

We look forward to sharing further updates as the project moves ahead.

Anstruther RNLI Station Tours - book for January and February 2026

After a very successful year in 2025 our dedicated Visits Team hosted over 1750 visitors to Anstruther RNLI Lifeboat Station, which gave all our visitors a behind the scenes look at how we go about Saving Lives at Sea around the coast of the East Neuk of Fife.

We were delighted to host both new and loyal supporters from all over the UK, and from as far away as Australia; many of whom stayed for an extended break in the town and experienced the excellent hospitality that Anstruther has to offer.

If you would like to reserve your free ticket to visit Anstruther Lifeboat Station, you can do so by clicking the link below and booking your Station Tour ticket.

We fully appreciate that many of our visitors have to travel long distances to come and see their loved one’s name on our port and starboard bow, who form our Support Crew and lead us into every ‘Shout’. Therefore, if you would like to book a private visit, out with the available dates advertised, please contact our Station Visits Officer, Simon Full, by emailing: [email protected] and we will do our best to try and fit in with your travel plans.

Also, if you are an individual, a family group, or a member of a group or society that would like to arrange a private visit, we would be delighted to host you. So please use the above email address to discuss your visit request.

Anstruther RNLI Visits Team look forward to hosting you.
