⚓ The Mayor unveiled a memorial plaque and storyboard commemorating the Northern Ireland sailors involved in the Yangtze Incident. Family members attended the ceremony and shared personal stories and treasured memories of their loved ones.
🌉 The Mayor officially opened the new pedestrian bridge in Ballyclare, strengthening active travel links across the town.
🎉 The Mayor celebrated the end of her term at Party in the Parterre, raising funds for her chosen charities: ASD Teens, the British Deaf Association (Northern Ireland) and the Macmillan Cancer Unit, Antrim.
🛝 The Mayor joined pupils from Rathcoole Primary School to officially open the newly refurbished Hazelbank Play Park, creating an exciting new space for local children and families to enjoy.
🎅 The Mayor and Deputy Mayor presented Scott Wilson with a Santa of the Borough Medallion in recognition of his contribution to the community.
🏃 The Mayor and Deputy Mayor also hosted a reception for Ethan Carr, wishing him every success for the season ahead. Ethan is currently the fastest U17 400m runner in the UK and Ireland and hoping to be selected for the U18 European championships later on this year.
