🌱 Challenge Poverty Week | Investing in Communities

'Thriving community organisations help create a Scotland free from poverty.'

We’re proud to support the communities we serve through our Making Our Communities Better Places Fund.

For over 25 years, the Fund has provided more than £200,000 in funding to local charities, groups and organisations - helping communities across North Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway to develop, grow and make a difference. 💙

And it’s still making a difference today. The Fund is currently open for applications!

If your community group or organisation has an idea that could make your local community a better place, we’d love to hear from you.

💛 Challenge Poverty Week | Tackling Child Poverty

Child poverty is not inevitable. Together, through partnership, compassion and action, we can remove barriers, strengthen communities and give every child the opportunity to grow, learn and thrive.

We’re committed to supporting children and families in the communities we serve. Throughout the year, we provide community events, activities and projects for children and young people, helping create opportunities to connect, have fun and build positive experiences.

We also work with local foodbanks and food larders to help families facing financial challenges, ensuring that no one has to go without food.

Our community events and activities are advertised across our social media platforms, so make sure you follow us to find out what’s happening in your area.

Because poverty should never define a child’s future. 🌟

It was great to come together today for our Annual General Meeting, reflecting on another busy and successful year at CHA.

The meeting included highlights from the year, a financial overview, the auditors’ report and reappointment, as well as our annual prize raffle and garden competition awards. 🌿🏆

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support CHA and our communities.
