Starting a New Allotment from Scratch

There has been a fantastic amount of interest for the plots, and I'm aiming to have them ready to go by next Saturday 23rd May. I have a new website setup now PaddysPlots.com, which gives a little more details, as well as the costs, etc, and a form where you can register your interest for a plot.

I'm excited now moving forward, and hope to have a few photo's posted up through-out next week, as work progresses.

With the rising prices of food, and the requirement of social distancing seeming like it's here to stay for a while, the plots will be a great opportunity to help with both.

Hi, I'm Paddy, and I have a few fields about 2 mile outside Armagh, just off the Battleford Road. The fields were previously used to be used for growing potatoes, as well as hay and silage back in my farming days. It's good growing ground but hasn't been used for growing in years, so I want to put it to some good use. I'm planning on dividing it up into good decent sized allotments, for people to lease and grow their own fruit, vegetables, flowers, or whatever they would like to grow.

I'm only at the stage of gathering interest in the allotments, as I have about 2 weeks work to get it all ready and lined out. If you would be interested in leasing an allotment or finding out more about it, please message or phone me 07725 326578.
