We have been in attendance at an incident on John Robinson Way, Daybrook, following a call at 1.20pm today.

This was a fuel tank leak, resulting in approximately 350 litres of diesel fuel spilled.

We are leaving the incident soon, however the access road into Sainsbury’s will remain closed for some time - please continue to avoid the area.

Thank you for your cooperation whilst we’ve been dealing with this incident.

One of our recent calls, during the night we were called to a fire in a commercial building under construction. With help from Stockhill and London Road with the Aerial ladder platform. In total we used 6 fire fighters in breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

This cheeky little chappy decided to dive under a car bonnet on a busy Mansfield Road! Watch Manager Leigh Curtis and Fire Fighter Bruce Mason from Blue Watch sprung into action and managed to rescue the kitten and secure him with the fantastic help of the general public and a huge thanks to Medivet for the supply of the carrier! 😺
