Ashbourne, know anyone starting college or uni soon?
A free, two-dose MenB vaccine is now available for a limited time.
You are eligible if you were born between 01/08/2007 and 31/08/2008.
Anyone under 25 and starting at university, or starting college and moving into further education accommodation, for the first time in autumn 2026, are also eligible

It's GCSE results day today and Ashbourne Town Council would like to wish good luck to all those collecting, and congratulations to all those who got their grades and, if you didn't do as well as expected - look how far you have come, be kind to yourself there are always options.

Ashbourne Mayor, Cllr Phil Chell has been absolutely honoured to attend events that showcase the excellent work various organisations do to make young people's life's a little brighter.
He attended Derby Kids Camp to see firsthand how volunteers give children a holiday in our glorious countryside.
Cllr Chell also opened the Stay and Play community garden at Ashbourne Pavilion and finally he was delighted to hand out prizes at a meet for the Boys Brigade.

Derbyshire Dales CVS Social Connectedness Community Kickstart offers up to £200 to support volunteer-led activities that reduce loneliness and isolation in the Derbyshire Dales. Whether it’s a coffee morning, a craft group, a community event, or something completely new – this is your chance to give it a go!

Who Can Apply?
• New ideas from individuals, friends, neighbours, or small teams – no bank account needed!
• Existing small community groups – we also welcome applications from more formal groups, with constitutions, bank accounts, already doing great things - you can apply too.

Ashbourne Town Council would like to offer congratulations to all those collecting their A Levels and Vocational qualifications today and wish you all the luck in the world on your next phase, whether it be university, apprenticeship or the world of work - REMEMBER!
