With our team of qualified staff and purpose built facilities we are able to offer the children an opportunity of learning through play from an early age. We have been running since 1972 and have been based at Hulland school since 2008, as a result the transition that children make from pre-school to the school environment is a smooth one due to the familiarity with the building and regular contact with the school.

Happy St George's Day! We have been busy designing, making and decorating castles and colouring flags in, celebrating our Patron Saint of England!️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🐉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We have explored ladybirds this week, using a magnifier to look closely at them, thinking about their habitats, talking about symmetry and counting their spots and painting stones to look like them🐞

The Police came to visit us on Tuesday and we learnt about some of the jobs Police do, looked at the equipment they wear on their uniform, looked inside their car, saw the flashing lights and listened to the siren- it was very exciting!🚓🚔

We have learnt about Shrovetide this week and the children have coloured in Shrovetide balls.
Have a lovely half term, we will return on Monday 23rd February

We have learnt all about China and Chinese New Year this week, tasting Chinese food, role playing in our Chinese restaurant, listening to Chinese music and playing our Chinese drum, looking at Chinese lanterns on our computer and making our own, colouring in Chinese dragons and looking at and having a go at Chinese writing. We have learnt about another country and culture, developing our understanding of the world and respect for other people🥡🥢🐉🐲🐎
