Can you help two young people achieve their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award?

As part of their volunteering efforts, they are coordinating an initiative to boost food bank donations in the borough. As such, they would like people to donate five items a local food bank by leaving them at Ashford Volunteer Centre for distribution at the end of June. Please leave your name and contact details with the items so they can send thank you notes!

If you love to drive and you have a bit of spare time, why not become a volunteer driver for our Community Car Service? This transport scheme is a lifeline for many older people in the borough.

Volunteering is flexible, fun and rewarding, but don’t take our word for it…
"I like it that I can do as much or as little driving as I want, which means I can still go on holidays if I want to.”
"Becoming a driver has got my out and about again with a new purpose”
"Helping someone is good, but you also get so much personal reward from it too.”
