Easter nests and carrot whistles tonight, still not got them to whistle.... but 4p a bag from supermarket certainly provided entertainment as well as learning a few bits about a drill. No waste...a guides rabbit had a deluxe snack tonight!

🌺 Thank you to the girls who were able to join us today to pay their respects. We know others attended others services and acts of remembrance across Ashford also. Flags were carried with pride by our wonderful girls. This week at guides we reflect up " Dig for Victory " where during the war people were encouraged to grow their own food. Lets get planting! 🪴 🌱

Congratulations to Lois on completing your Gold Award! The girls very much enjoyed the evening you planned for them to walk to the Skippers chip shop and back and what a wonderful welcome we had with a delicious chip supper!
We said farewell to Annabelle, but hope she stays in touch as many of us are going to miss you. Such thoughtful gifts for the leaders, my flower will take pride of place in my new garden!

A fantastic day at Kingsnorth Country Fayre. Was lovely to meet existing members as well as those looking to potentially join us in the coming months. The chatter around " I used to be in the girl guides" was certainly the main theme today! If you had a great experience come along and support the next generation!

Today Cameron of 1st Kingsnorth and Park Farm Guides went to London to pay her respects to Queen Elizabeth II. She then decided to volunteer to help the Green Park wardens to remove the packaging from the bouquets of flowers laid by members of the public. What a lovely selfless gesture, helping others and the environment, upholding the promise to serve the Queen and community.
