DOG POOS WASTE BINS

In an effort to try to keep costs down and keep dog poo waste bins available for all dog walkers to use, the Parish Council kindly request that dog walkers do not dispose of dog poo collected from a garden into the dog poo waste bins in the village.

Domestic dog waste should be double bagged and placed in the purple bin.

The bins are for dog waste collected during walks only.

If the bin is full please kindly take home with you where it can be double bagged and disposed of in the purple bin.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Baldock and Villages Community Forum - Monday 15th June at 7.30 at the Baldock Community Hub - All welcome
The next Baldock and Villages Community Forum, will be on Monday 15th June at 7.30 (doors from 7pm) in the Baldock Community Hub (previously known as Baldock Community Centre), Simpson Drive, SG7 6DH.

The speakers will be Debbie Coates and Rachael Rooney from the Planning Department. They will make a short presentation about the consultation and then conduct a Q & A session. Any members of the public are welcome to attend. This is their overview about the consultation:

We've begun preparing our new Local Plan for North Herts. It's a key document that will guide how our District grows and develops over the coming years; setting out where new homes, jobs, infrastructure and community facilities should go, helping to ensure the area develops in a sustainable and coordinated way.

The first stage of consultation runs from Monday 11 May to Sunday 28 June 2026.

We’d like your views on:

how you would like to be involved in shaping the Plan
the key issues the Local Plan should address
what should be included in the overall vision for North Herts

The next Baldock and Villages Community Forum, will be on Monday 15th June at 7.30 (doors from 7pm) in the Baldock Community Hub (previously known as Baldock Community Centre), Simpson Drive, SG7 6DH.

Please find attached a link to the current survey about the Herts Lynx busses. I would be very grateful if you could share this within your Villages as I am sure many of your parishioners would be able to provide valuable insight to improve this service.
