Who's joining us for the Big Day Out Polesworth this weekend?!

There are just a few days to go until the Big Day Out this Sunday, 14 June, and we couldn't be more excited.

🕐11am to 3pm.
ℹ️Free to attend, no booking required.
🎪Market stalls, food & drink, fairground rides and inflatables.
🏹Adventure activities including rock climbing, slack lining, archery and yoga.

The event is spread across Pooley Country Park and Abbey Green Park with parking available at either site. Take the scenic canal-side trail with free children's activity between the two, or choose the regular shuttle bus.

Our Environmental Crime Officer attended the scene of a fly tip in Hawkeswell Lane, Coleshill, which resulted in evidence being secured at the scene.

Following an investigation which included an interview under caution of a person from Birmingham , a fine was served for £600 for not applying the necessary duty of care required in disposing of waste from their home address.

Remember, it's your responsibility to make sure your waste is disposed of properly. If you pay someone to take your rubbish away, check they're authorised to do so and ask where it will be taken. If your waste is found fly-tipped, you could face a fine.

A quick update on the free bus service for swimming sessions 🚌

From Monday 15th June, the timetable is changing slightly, with new time slots in place.

The service will still run on selected days with pick-up and drop-off at Atherstone Bus Station, helping you to continue swimming at nearby leisure centres while we begin work on Atherstone’s new leisure centre.

If you’re planning to book a seat, it’s worth checking the updated times before you firm up your plans.

The Big Day Out in Polesworth returns with a day of free family fun in June

The free event takes place on 14 June with activities at Pooley Country Park and Abbey Green Park. Families from across North Warwickshire and beyond are invited to enjoy a fantastic day of free fun as the Big Day Out returns to Polesworth on Sunday 14 June 2026, from 11am to 3pm.
