An amazing Tuesday evening meeting tonight. 💚

This session was centred around bereavement and trauma — heavy topics, but handled with so much care and courage.

We sat together, enjoyed a nice cold drink and some snacks, but more importantly, we created space to truly listen.

It was a powerful moment for all of us to hear each other’s experiences, share our stories, and realise we’re not alone in our journeys.

There’s strength in vulnerability, and healing in community. Proud of everyone who showed up tonight — hearts open, minds present. 💚💚

The Support Squad Project

What a project.

One of our Support Squad’s most devoted members needed this more than anything. After weeks of talking and planning, we are so close to completing this raised bed.

It had become too much to handle, and it all felt overwhelming. After weeks of conversations, we finally got the green light.

Thank you Chrissie Bickley Daniel Butler Koa Doe

We’ve got one or maybe two hours left to finish a small bed, and we’re looking forward to taking on our next project soon.

A big thank you also goes to Kuba Ka for lending us a circular saw when ours broke down, lol.

We’re raising money for food parcels, homeless sleep-outs, helping a homeless man buy a moped and get his licence, leaving gifts around the area, and supporting a garden project.

Remember, our free coffee meetings are every Tuesday at the Red Lion pub, in the back room at 19:00.

This cheered me up this morning

This is my story

This one is for taking back my mistakes.

This one is to stand against su***de.

This one is for the nights I sleep outdoors—in sheds, garages, and fields in the snow.

This one is for the hangovers and the remnants left behind.

This one is for addiction.

The fight is burning me, but the motivation comes from fear and the falls.

I won’t be saying when.

It’s hard to explain the feelings, the emotions behind it all. The pressure is unreal. It’s not about the cheers or the finish line — it’s about the weight of what it truly is. The miles feel very real in my head.

This goes beyond excitement or joy. It’s something deeper. Overwhelming at times. If I’m honest, it scares me — because I know I’m going to meet a version of myself I don’t fully understand yet.

Out there, it’s just me and my mind. We’ll have to work together, figure things out, face whatever comes up, and learn to embrace the process — even the parts I’ve ignored or never noticed before.

I don’t worry about whether I’ll finish.
I worry about whether my mind will keep up.

No need for the words anymore.

Let’s him get this training done, let’s make it happen and move on to the ext challenge.

For those who know me well, the next one is massive.

I think we can all agree I stick to what I say but yeah it take me a little longer as it’s my safety blanket that does hold me back.

Can’t wait to speak about the next challenge.

Will be looking for calibrations, this will set the bar way above anything we will do.

Want to get involved ?

Drop me a DM in a few weeks and let make children smile for Christmas, a time to give to those whom maybe struggling
