Leicestershire City Council funds a private medical team to set up an overnight tent offering support to the homeless, intoxicated individuals, and others in need.

We’re here in Leicester city centre, sleeping out and handing out donations.

We’ve managed to give away almost everything we brought.

It’s been an absolutely amazing night — such a supportive and caring homeless community looking out for one another.

I’ve been taken in and found a safe place to sleep with several others in a doorway outside the 24-hour McDonald’s in the city centre.

We’re here in Leicester city centre for one night only!

Looking forward to giving away as many donations as we can.
Our van is half full of amazing things for anyone who’s homeless.

I’ll be sleeping rough for one night — because I was once homeless myself.

I’ve walked half the UK, run 104 miles, and supported homeless people at every event.
Now we’re here in Leicester for one night only — let’s make it count.

In just a few hours I will be homeless.

Tonight, I’ll be spending 24 hours living on the streets — bedding down in a doorway in Leicester.

This isn’t for attention, but a reminder of how quickly life can change. It’s frighteningly easy to lose everything — a home, stability, a sense of direction — and even harder to find a way back.
During this time, we’ll also be donating essentials: clothes, sleeping bags, trainers, and survival kits for those who need them most.

If you see someone struggling out there, remember — it could be any one of us. A kind word, a warm drink, or a small donation can make a bigger difference than you think.

Let’s stand together for understanding, compassion, and real change. 💛🏠

We have packed ready for Leicester city sleep out.

All packed and ready to go! Tomorrow , I’ll be sleeping rough in Leicester City — not because I have to, but because I choose to.

You might ask, why head back to the streets after working so hard to leave that life behind? The answer is simple: to give back. To show others that no matter how far you’ve fallen, there’s always a way forward.

My journey from a life of crime, addiction, and homelessness to the person I am today has been one of growth, strength, and endless battles.

Tonight, I sleep out to raise awareness, share hope, and remind those still struggling that change is possible.
