Some early morning sunbathers on the roof of the Nature Centre, spotted by our own Beth!🪿👀

Waiting for the sun to come out again so you can join us (and the ducks!) for a drink and a cake on the balcony ☕️🍰

Take a sensory journey with nature 🪻🌿

For one of your activities, pause for a few moments and tune into the natural world using your senses. Focusing on your senses in nature can help you slow down, clear distractions, and feel more connected to the world around you.

Pick one idea, try a few, or try them all 💚

🦦 🦦 🦦 …. A special otter moment at the reserve!

Otters are one of the UK’s most elusive mammals, so if you’re lucky enough to spot one, please keep your distance and enjoy the moment quietly.

This incredible footage was captured by Kev Sewell this morning (03/06/26)
Moments like this don’t happen by chance, they come from spending lots of time in nature, understanding wildlife behaviour and having plenty of patience!

Fancy seeing an otter 🦦 for yourself? Whilst we can’t make any promises, our guided otter walks give you the best chance of spotting one and learning more about these fascinating animals. Take a look at our events page to book your place!
