Larkins Fuel Merchants is a fourth-generation family business operating from our original home at The Homestead in Old Buckenham. Founded by Arthur Larkins over a century ago

in the horse-and-cart era, we have spent generations perfecting traditional fuel merchant service. Today, Martin Larkins carries on that legacy, bringing master merchant expertise and a premium product range directly to your door. We don't believe in faceless courier drops. 🪵 Premium Kiln-Dried Logs: Sourced from sustainable British woodlands and dried to an ultra-low 10–15% moisture content for maximum heat and crystal-clear stove glass.
🔥 Smokeless Coals & Ovoids: HETAS-approved, fully compliant fuels (including Oxbow Newheat and Newburn) for multi-fuel stoves and traditional open fires.
🧂 Water Softener Salt: High-purity Tablet, Block, and Granular salt to protect your home’s appliances from the region's notoriously hard water.
📦 Value Bundles: Curated fuel packs and firelighting essentials to give you a "one-match start" and maximum seasonal savings. The Larkins Delivery Promise:
🚚 Individual Bags (The Stacking Service): We handle all the heavy lifting. We shoulder and hand-stack every individual bag right into your shed, garage, or coal bunker as standard.
🚛 Bulk Bags (The Precision Drop): For maximum value, our 1.2m³ and 1.6m³ bulk log bags are delivered upright via our specialist tipper truck. Please note: To protect our busy regional schedule, bulk bags are delivered as a complete unit and are not decanted or hand-stacked by the driver.

⚠️ Price Update: Please note that while our May/June rates are at their lowest, our Smokeless Coal prices will rise by £20 per tonne as we move into July and August, followed by a further £40 per tonne increase in September.
