We want our page to be a place where people can share how they feel about Waddesdon and talk about their experiences in a fun environment. We welcome feedback – both positive and negative. It helps us to learn and grow. These house rules aim to ensure everyone can enjoy themselves while they’re here. W

e ask you to be nice and polite to one another - and respect each other’s views and comments. We ask all users to ensure your contributions are civil, polite, tasteful and suitable for all ages. We won’t tolerate disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour, unlawful or objectionable content. This includes any material which might be defamatory, offensive, infringing, obscene, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, blasphemous, indecent or otherwise unlawful or objectionable. It also includes any material which we deem aggressive, argumentative or likely to be construed as bullying. No spamming or repetition, please, nor off-topic material in subject-specific threads or areas. Moderation policy

In general, we don’t moderate posts – except on the rare occasion that someone has used offensive language or made libellous allegations about named or identifiable individuals on our page. We have a duty to protect our staff and volunteers, so while hiding or deleting comments is totally out of character for us, our legal position is that any post containing a libellous accusation, should be removed. If an individual continues to post offensive, threatening or libellous content then we’ll be forced to block that person from the page. We won’t tolerate postings, content, or links that are racist, sexist or homophobic. We also don’t permit linking to or posting any content which endorses illegal activity, or any activities against the values of Waddesdon or the National Trust. This , we are shining a light on the incredible individuals who support Waddesdon Manor.

Our volunteers play a vital role in everything we do, from preserving our rich heritage to enhancing the visitor experience. We are immensely grateful for their dedication, passion, and the positive impact they bring to the Manor every single day.

Your time can make a genuine difference. We are looking for volunteers to join the Stable Cafe team in creating an inviting space for our community, with opportunities available both front-of-house and behind the scenes. Join us on 11 June, from 2pm - 3.30pm, at our open day to find out more.

The Waddesdon Manor Mandala 2026

Crafted using biodegradable pitch paint, this striking artwork extends over the North Front. Renowned nature artists James Brunt and Jon Foreman, with assistance from Mark Ford and Eric Ford, have worked tirelessly to bring this masterpiece to life.

Join us this weekend to unleash your inner artist at a mass participation event on Saturday, 30 May, plus a range of workshops and activities, rounding off an incredible week.

Art in Nature 🎨🌿 Here's what's on this week:

Yesterday, artists James Brunt and Jon Foreman began work on the giant Mandala on the North Front Lawns, with it set to be fully completed by Wednesday, 27 May. If you are visiting this bank holiday weekend, you can watch the piece come to life and also get involved by creating works alongside land and nature-inspired artists at the Conservation Hub.

For little ones, face painting is available from 11am – 4pm each day (extra charges apply).
From Wednesday 27 – Sunday 31 May, attend nature talks, workshops and demonstrations at Baron’s Walk.

Looking for something to do this May half-term? Here are some highlights for you to look forward to:

- Art in Nature returns! Enjoy an artist-led nature play space at the Conservation Hub, where you can create works alongside artists from across the country
- Take part in FREE nature workshops across the week
- Meet and Create with some of the leading land and nature-inspired artists from the UK and beyond!
- Refuel with a delicious lunch from the Stables Cafe or cool down with a refreshing ice cream from the Stables Takeaway
- See the Mandala – an example of immersive large-scale land art that visitors can explore – which will transform the North Front into a huge intricate design.

Art in Nature runs from Saturday 23 - Sunday 31 May (open bank holiday Monday)
