β¨ A morning in the life of a Tiny Acorns Practitioner π±
Before we open our doors at 8am, thereβs lots happening behind the scenes to make sure our nursery is ready for a happy, safe and welcoming start to the day.
π Signing in & settling in
Practitioners begin their day by signing themselves in and registering their phones. This helps our managers know exactly who is on site in case of an emergency, as well as where mobile devices are located.
π Morning safety checks
Once in their rooms, practitioners complete their morning checklists. This includes checking for any potential hazards in the room and garden, checking the water temperature and making sure there is fresh air circulating throughout the room.
π₯£ Breakfast preparation
Breakfast starts promptly at 8am, so the team gets everything ready beforehand. We make sure the children have everything they need to enjoy their breakfast and, wherever possible, self-serve β encouraging independence and giving children a positive start to their day.
Thereβs lots of preparation that happens before the first little ones arrive, but every detail helps us create a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment for our children. ππ±
