The primary role of the Station is to contribute to the operational effectiveness of the Armed Forces by the timely provision of trained military and civilian personnel to the correct standard and within resource. Our biggest outputs include Basic Recruit Training and Command and Leadership Training. RAF Halton also has a number of lodger units covering a vast selection of specialities ranging fro

m air activity to defence media operations. As such RAF Halton is home to approximately 2100 personnel from all three Services, foreign military, contractors and civilians, making Halton a truly diverse team that works together to ensure excellence in the delivery of training.

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to the recruits of 784 Campion intake ๐ŸŽ‰

Yesterday, RAF Halton proudly celebrated the newest Aviators graduating into the Royal Air Force. Comprising of No.5 Flight and No.6 Flight, recruits have successfully completed the Basic Recruit Training Course.

Over the past 10 weeks, these dedicated individuals have transformed from civilians into capable members of the RAF.

The graduation ceremony was reviewed by Air Vice Marshal A T Martin OBE MSc MDS BSc (Hons) Director Integrated Air and Missile Defence with the RAF Regiment band providing the musical backdrop and an A400M flypast by 70 Sqn, RAF Brize Norton.

Well done to everyone who graduated today and good luck in your new careers ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

A huge well done to the exceptional recruits from Beckett intake, who graduated this week. During the graduation parade, recruits were presented the following awards:

๐ŸŒŸ AR Ambrose- Halton Aircraft Apprentice Trophy for best drill and deportment.

๐ŸŒŸ AR Cundhill- Halton Aircraft Apprentice Shield for top performance in Physical Education.

๐ŸŒŸ AR Naylorโ€“ Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire Trophy for demonstrating remarkable growth.

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to the recruits of 783 Beckett intake ๐ŸŽ‰

Today, RAF Halton proudly celebrated the newest Aviators graduating into the Royal Air Force. Comprising of No.3 Flight and No.4 Flight, recruits have successfully completed the Basic Recruit Training Course.

Over the past 10 weeks, these dedicated individuals have transformed from civilians into capable members of the RAF.

The graduation ceremony was reviewed by Air Vice Marshal Chaplain Dr Giles Legood , Chaplain in Chief with the RAF Regiment band providing the musical backdrop.

On the 27 April, RAF Halton and the new Station Commander, Wg Cdr Sharrock hosted a Honours and Awards Ceremony; celebrating the bravery, commitment and long service of our wholeforce personnel.

Awards included:

๐Ÿ…Operational Service Medal- Iraq and Syria
๐Ÿ…Wider Service Medal
๐Ÿ…Long Service and Good Conduct (Clasp)
๐Ÿ…Civil Service-Valuable Service Awards 15,25 and 35 years.

The Valuable Service Award, presented to three civil servants today, recognises their commitment to RAF Halton, the Civil Service and the wider RAF, for their long-term service and support to the wholeforce.

Congratulations to Basic recruit training course 218 (Reservists) who graduated on the 25 April as our newest reservist Aviators into the Royal Air Force ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘

The reviewing Officer on Saturdayโ€™s graduation was Air Vice Marshal Lincoln MBE FCILT FCIPD RAF, Commandant General of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force and Director Reserves.

During the graduation parade, recruits were presented the following awards:

๐Ÿชฒ๐ŸžBUG HOTELS ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿœ

This month the RAF Halton Vinci site team collaborated with the Vinci Environment Sustainability Team and Gavin Jones Grounds Maintenance Team to construct four 'Bug Hotels' as part of their Stand out make a difference day around the RAF Halton site.

Thanks go to all that got involved and for the contribution of materials from Gavin Jones and PLT Group Ltd. ๐Ÿ‘

The Bug Hotels have been constructed to provide essential habitats for beneficial insects, enhances biodiversity, and supports a healthy ecosystem here at RAF Halton ๐ŸŒ
