All roads in the area have now reopened. However, an emergency services presence will remain on scene while crews continue to work at the incident, so please take extra care when travelling through.

Firefighters are currently in attendance at an industrial building fire on Rabans Close, Aylesbury.

Our advice to people in the area is to keep doors and windows closed and be prepared for the potential of disruption and smoke affecting visibility on local roads, while the emergency services are working at the scene.

There are also road closures in place on Rabans Close and Rabans Lane which is affecting access to the industrial estate.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service to our first coffee morning of the year!

Although the icy weather meant a smaller turnout, it made for a really lovely and cosy morning. We all sat together, enjoyed a chat, and shared cake and hot chocolate (with marshmallows of course!)☕🍰

A huge thank you to all of the Bucks Fire and Rescue teams who have joined us at our coffee mornings, taking the time to talk about fire safety in the home and prevention. We’re so grateful for their time and support in our community 💛

Don’t be alarmed if you see a large fire engine presence by Friars Square shopping centre tonight from 7.30pm. We are doing a training exercise with crews from Chesham and Waddeson Fire Stations. 🚒

We prepare for the worst in our training so we can be at our best when you need us! 👩‍🚒🌟

🚨 Incident Update: Fire in industrial unit

Firefighters have been tackling a large industrial fire in Westcott, Aylesbury since yesterday morning. At the height of the fire, six crews and three officers attended.

The scene continues to produce significant smoke, and we’re asking residents and businesses nearby to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution.

This morning at 10:45am, our crew from Aylesbury and support staff in HQ paused to observe a minute’s silence in memory of Firefighter Martyn Sadler.

It was a time to reflect, to honour his service, and to show solidarity with his family, friends, and colleagues. We continue to keep all those affected in our thoughts.

One of our committed On-Call Firefighters, Danny, will be taking on the Inca Trail in June to raise awareness and funds for the Fire Fighters Charity which supports firefighters and families in times of need.

Danny has been a valued member of our team for over six years and has now embraced the opportunity to take on a new challenge, giving back to this charity in a meaningful way.
