Super work from the Royal Navy photographers this Remembrance Day.
It really captures the human emotion of life in the trenches.

What an incredible find!

While working on the sewer system in the center of Wijtschate Heuvelland) , the contractor collided with a bunker and trenches from the First World War. The archaeologists arrived on the site to further investigate the works. It is remarkable what was found on this site ( street ). All the partners involved ( Aquafin, The Agency Onroerend Erfgoed, contractor Cnockaert, the municipality of Heuvelland, CO7, archaeologists of Rubens Willaert nv, Monument Vandekerkhove nv, Acke &Bracke bvba, bom.be ) now provide an efficient examination of the finds.

If anyone is able to help them in any way then please do. It’s a very worthwhile and unique cause.
