Single lane closure Monday 8th June 9.30am to 3pm

Full road closure Tuesday 9th June to Wednesday 10th June, 10pm to 5am.

To enable replacement of current mobile traffic lights with fixed traffic lights at EKFB site entrance.

Local Councillors Greg Smith and Maru Mormina will hold a drop-in session at the Stone Village Fete on MONDAY 25TH MAY (12noon-4pm) to canvas residents views on public transport.

Buckinghamshire Council is currently updating its Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), so this is the ideal time to feed comments, ideas and suggestions to reduce car dependency across our area by encouraging more use of buses and public transport.

Please come along and help your councillors build a clear picture of the real pressures in our public transport system and what can be done about it — and give them the evidence they need to influence strategic future planning for our local area.

Sunday 17th May between 6pm and 8pm

Up to 15 minute rolling road closures and/or traffic management may be required along A41Tring Road, A41 Friarage Road and A418 Oxford Road to allow vehicles to move through the area safely.

For the delivery of HS2 steel bridge sections on abnormal sized loads through central Aylesbury.

Traffic Management Overnight Friday 15th to Saturday 16th May, 8.30pm to 5.30am.

A418 Oxford Road between Coldharbour roundabout and Stone.

EKFB/HS2 are removing redundant underground cable around the A418 bridge. They will be working near live utilities using vacuum excavators, creating some noise and dust with quieter and busier periods.

Expect single lane closure managed by temporary traffic lights from 8.30pm-5.30am.

Following the Pavilion repaint last month we have now had the picnic benches cleaned and re-painted. M Simmonds decorators have done a cracking job and even covered over the scratches that were made in the Pavilion too.

The Parish Council is looking to set up a volunteer car-lift support scheme to help local residents to get to hospital appointments, shopping etc.
