🎯⚓ Another first for Service darts!

Great to see Royal Navy Darts launching their inaugural Maritime Masters this October.

It’s fantastic to see more competitive opportunities being created for serving personnel, with events like this helping to bring people together through darts.

From where this all started to seeing each of the Services continuing to develop their own competitions and communities, there is so much positive momentum across Defence Darts.

Good luck to everyone entering and to the Royal Navy Darts team putting it all together. Looking forward to seeing who becomes the first Maritime Masters Champion! 🏆🎯⚓

We’re excited to announce the inaugural RN Darts Maritime Masters — bringing together serving Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel for a day of competition, camaraderie and, hopefully, some serious arrows!

📅 Saturday 24th October 2026
⌚️ Registration opens 1130
Toe to the oche 1215.

The competition will be capped at 64 players, all taking to the oche to battle it out and become the first-ever RN Darts Maritime Masters champion!

🎯 FROM OPERATION BULLSEYE TO BANGKOK! 🇹🇭🏆

Another brilliant result from within the Defence Darts community, this time all the way from Thailand!

Huge congratulations to Carl Webb, former Sergeant in the Royal Green Jackets, who served from 1990 to 2001 and will be a familiar face to many of us as an Operation Bullseye I & II qualifier.

Carl recently competed at the Airports Authority of Thailand (AOT) Darts Tournament in Bangkok, playing alongside his Taffy Darts teammates in the four-player team event.

And they only went and won the whole thing! 🏆🎯

Carl also reached the semi-finals of the doubles, rounding off a pretty successful tournament.

Even better for us, on Day One he was out there in Bangkok proudly wearing his Operation Bullseye II shirt. ❤️💙

It’s fantastic to see the Defence Darts colours travelling far beyond the UK and being represented by our veterans wherever their darts takes them.

🎯 WINNER! 🏆

Huge congratulations to Jake Glover, a British Army veteran, who has just won the local darts championship at Whitworth Football & Cricket Club. 👏

Jake left the Army in 2015 and was one of 16 players competing, coming away with the trophy and prize money. 🏆💰

And we couldn’t help but notice he was donning his Operation Bullseye II shirt while doing it 🎯❤️💙

There’s something pretty special about seeing these shirts out in the wild, being worn by members of our community and picking up trophies along the way.

Congratulations Jake. Great result and thank you for sending it in! 👏🎯

The first fixture in the new RAF Darts Development Series is underway!

A great opportunity for RAF players to gain competitive match experience against strong opposition outside of the Service environment, while building relationships through darts.

Tonight’s RAF side includes players from across RAF Brize Norton, RAF High Wycombe, RAF Benson and 78 Squadron, showing exactly what these development fixtures are all about.

Good luck to everyone involved and a big well done to RAF Darts for creating more opportunities for personnel to get on the oche and represent the Service. 👏🎯

🎯 RAF Darts Revenge 🎯

👊 That's why he's Champion 👊

Recently we reported on the Defence Darts Online League showcasing young Kieran Styles edging out the RAF Champ, The Lossie Eagle!

With a return fixture arranged we were keen to catch the action, and we were not disappointed!

Absolutely ruthless, Gareth Edwards was in dominant form, with a first 9 over 90 and clinical finishing resulting in an 80+ average in a 5-1 rout!

He's laid his marker down, anyone wants to take down the RAF Darts Champ, they'll need to bring their A game as he's here to stay 👊

Anyone interested in taking part in the Defence Darts Online League we will be recruiting new players next week for Season 5 starting September 1, keep an eye out for further info

❤️ Vince Tipple speaks about the amazing connection the military can forge having recently met Army Champ Jasper Scarrott at a local event

"I only met Jasper Scarrott playing the other week at an ADC event in Middlesbrough, we'd never met before but we knew all the same people.

"To have that connection with darts and our core, with the Royal Signals was fantastic, and he said the same thing."
