Well… the weather clearly didn’t get the memo that it was supposed to be spring 🌧️😂

After what feels like weeks of dodging rain showers, we thought it only fair to give everyone a little extra time to get their gardens blooming beautifully 🌻🌿

So GOOD NEWS! 🎉
The entry deadline for the Aylesham & Snowdown Garden Competition 2026 has now been EXTENDED to 15th June 2026!

With the sunshine finally making an appearance ☀️, there’s still time to tidy those borders, brighten up the pots, and let your gardens shine.

We can’t wait to see all your fantastic entries! 🌸🌼🌷

FREE Skateboarding Lessons are returning to Aylesham Skate Park for kids aged 4+!

Learn new skills, build confidence, and have loads of fun with qualified Skate GB coaches — with all equipment provided.

Aylesham Parish Council is pleased to share details of the upcoming Centenary Expo organised by Aylesham Community Forum as part of Aylesham’s pre-centenary celebrations. 🎉

📅 Saturday 16th May
⏰ 10:00am – 2:00pm
📍 Aylesham Community Trust, Ackholt Road, CT3 3AJ

Local community groups are invited to showcase their events, projects and plans for Aylesham’s 100th year celebrations in 2027. It is a great opportunity to build interest, boost membership and recruit volunteers.

Residents are also warmly encouraged to attend, find out what is being planned for Aylesham’s centenary year, and get involved in the community.

The event will include:
✨ Community stalls
✨ Heritage exhibition
✨ Film screening
✨ Art exhibition
☕ The Old School Coffee Shop & Kitchen will also be open on the day
