We have had a packed day of adventures - canoeing and raft building on Carsington Water, rock climbing and scrambling at Black Rocks and challenging ourselves to tackle the high ropes course and take the Leap of Faith! We’ve rounded off the day with a hotly contested game of bingo.

Today we have spent the day as a group on a walk to Cromford Mill. The weather was kind again and we had a lovely walk followed by a picnic by the canal. Luckily, the ice cream van was there and the children enjoyed a treat after lunch. The afternoon was spent at the mill where children learned some history, dressed up and made water wheels out of Lego.

We have had a fantastic day full of activities on-site and at the Black Rocks. We were very lucky as despite the wet forecast, it has been dry all day. This evening groups have enjoyed quizzing, toasting marshmallows around the campfire and buying gifts from the Mount Cook shop. Hopefully, we have tired them out for an earlier night!
