What a great evening we had on Monday working alongside Newton Abbot Fire Station in a joint training exercise! 🚒🚑

Together, our teams worked through scene safety, how we communicate and work together at an incident, triage for multiple patients, and the clinical assessments and decisions that follow.

It was a brilliant chance to learn from each other and put those skills into practice. A big thank you to everyone at Newton Abbot Fire Station for inviting us, and to our team for getting stuck in!

What a weekend! 👏

Over the past four days, our incredible teams have supported Live at Powderham across four unforgettable show nights, deploying more than 40 clinicians and support staff to provide a full range of medical care, from minor injuries and illnesses through to advanced and critical care.

Alongside this, we also brought to a close four weeks of medical provision at Southampton Summer Sessions and Live at Lincoln, the culmination of months of planning, preparation and teamwork.

Working through some of the hottest weather of the year, our teams remained committed to delivering safe, compassionate and professional care to everyone who needed us, helping thousands of festival-goers enjoy their experience with confidence.

A huge thank you to every member of the Western Medical Services team and our colleagues from AAA.Ambulance3 and Protak Critical Care Services. Your dedication, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile never go unnoticed.

Now… time for a well-earned rest before we do it all again 💚🚑
