Your Town Council is here to represent the community, and your views matter. Join us on Tuesday 14 July, 7:00–9:00pm at Bakewell Town Hall to hear about local issues, upcoming projects and the work being carried out on behalf of residents.

The meeting begins with a Public Speaking session, giving residents the opportunity to raise matters of local interest directly with councillors before the main agenda starts.

Whether you have a question, an idea, a concern, or simply want to learn more about what is happening in Bakewell, we’d love to see you there. Everyone is welcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended Bakewell Town Council’s Annual Town Meeting and contributed so positively to the conversation about the future of our town.

The passion, ideas and community spirit shown throughout the evening were truly inspiring. From transport and accessibility to climate action, local business, tourism and community wellbeing, the discussions highlighted just how much people care about Bakewell and its future.

Bakewell Town Council will now be following up on the matters raised and will begin setting a timetable for the creation of working groups and the development of practical action plans to help turn ideas into reality.

Together, we can continue building a stronger, greener and even better Bakewell for everyone.
