Just wondering why Welsh news is saying the countryside is going to take hundreds of years to recover from the wildfires. If this was the case then surely the whole of planet earth would be blackened and devastated. Wildfires happen all time all over the world and if each one took hundreds of years to recover then why are we all still alive?? Just a thought.

Due to staffing tomorrow (Sunday). We are unable to provide a full menu, however we still have a good selection of our delicious homemade soups and sandwiches, made with our freshly baked bread.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please do still come enjoy the view for a light lunch or coffee and cake.
Normal service will resume on Monday.
Thank you Evie and the girls xx

Has a recent small visitor lost a little gold necklace with her initial on it?

Toby and I are so disappointed to report that one of our visitors actually removed a plant from our Rockery. We were so excited to be watching a dwarf willow settling in and establishing itself happily. Last night we walked passed and paused at the spot only to find a gap.
How very sad that someone thought to remove the plant without asking for a cutting.
Not the first time and sadly won’t be the last.
We love every single plant in our garden and are so delighted that you enjoy them with us. But please leave them in situ.
I’m absolutely not accusing any of our members or Facebook friends!! Just sharing a disappointing episode. 🄲
