On behalf of our group, Moyle Community First Responders, we would like to thank Gaelscoil an Chaistil for their kind donation.

A message from Gaelscoil an Chaistil. “We were delighted to present Juliana with the money raised during our recent Break the Rules Day, in support of Moyle Community First Responders. Juliana told us all about the vital work carried out by this life-saving service in our community. She also showed the children some of the emergency equipment and life-saving devices she carries in her response bag. Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser and helped us contribute to such a worthwhile cause”.

On behalf of our group, we would like to thank, Nina McAuley from the Delta Blues Linedancers on their generous donation from a number of fundraising events, that were conducted last year, also thanking Nina’s mother, Ann McMullan who has been very supportive of our group from the start of our journey.

This Check Your Defib Week, help us keep public access defibrillators available when every second matters. During a cardiac arrest, a public access defibrillator can help save a life. When a NIAS Emergency Medical Dispatcher directs you to retrieve a defibrillator, remember: Retrieve. Respond. Return. After you have responded to the emergency and you have finished with the defibrillator, please return the device to its cabinet as soon as possible. This allows it to be checked, any used equipment to be replaced, and ensures it is ready for the next emergency.

As this is volunteering week.

Let us take time to reflect and thank our volunteers in Moyle CFR, without their dedication, our service would not run or function and our community would be without. The positivity that we receive as a group in our area is really appreciated.

Also, taking this time to thank, all the other 458 volunteers, in the length and breadth of Northern Ireland currently in the CFR programmes.👏👏 a credit to everyone.

This National Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating all local volunteers who answer the call when their community needs them. Our Community First Responders live and work in the communities they serve, often arriving in those vital first moments before an ambulance crew arrives. Their willingness to step forward and help others is truly inspiring. Thank you for making such an impact in communities across Northern Ireland.
