A heartfelt tribute to Una McMillan ❤️
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the recent passing of Una McMillan, one of the trustees of Puffin Lodge, currently sited here at Causeway Coast Holiday Park.
Una and her husband Tom, Chairperson of Pulmonary Fibrosis NI, have dedicated so much of their time and energy to raising awareness of pulmonary fibrosis, a debilitating lung condition, and supporting those affected by it. Involved with the charity since its inception, their commitment and tireless work have played an important role in bringing greater recognition to pulmonary fibrosis in Northern Ireland and highlighting the need for increased awareness, support and research.
By sharing their own personal journey and the impact this condition has had on their lives, Tom and Una have helped others feel less alone and inspired many through their compassion, courage and determination to make a difference.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful caravan owners and guests, who have shown such kindness and generosity towards Pulmonary Fibrosis NI over the years. From fundraising events, which Una herself attended and spoke at last year, here on the park to the continued support shown for this very important cause, your efforts have helped make a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful.
Una will be remembered with great affection, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to Tom, their family and friends at this very sad time.
Rest in peace, Una. Thank you for all you have done and for the lives you have touched. ❤️
