Great day for the canvassing! Where are we; it's near the sea but not quite...
On a more serious note I have noticed a number of vehicles in such a short space of time in excess speed on this stretch of busy road and with a number of developments with young families living in the vicinity. No matter if elected or not, I will be raising this as a matter of public urgency with the police in relation to speed detection measures being put in place. 🤣

What an evening to have been out on the campaign trail ☀️ in the lovely historic village of Spa.
Although we weren’t the only canvassers on the Spa doorsteps tonight Will Polland SDLP & it was nice to catch up with you Colin McGrath SDLP
We ended the evening with some relaxation in Hillside play park -what an excellent play park facility. If elected next week I would be campaigning for updated facilities like this in other areas of Slieve Croob

This is worth a read from my fellow running mate Ricky McGaffin, UUP Crotlieve

A much younger version of yours truly alongside Donaghmore - the first Warrior Armoured Vehicle into Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, at the head of the Irish Guards battle group during the conflict there in 1999. It was a great privilege to be permitted to name the Warrior in honour of my home turf.

We were there as peacekeepers, dealing with a brutal ethic conflict, which in some ways reminded me of our own troubled past. We are fortunate here that even during the darkest days, there were enough good people on both sides of the community to stop our society descending to the levels I witnessed in Kosovo.

Ballynahinch District No. 17 are holding a Coronation Concert on Saturday 3 June 2023 and the band are taking part in this along with Dunmore Silver Band, Highland Dancers and Guests.

Come along to hear some great music!!
