๐Ÿšฎ Please Help Keep Pembroke Place Play Park Clean ๐Ÿšฎ
It's disappointing to see litter being left around Pembroke Place Play Park when there is a public bin located right by the entrance.

The play park is a shared community space for children and families to enjoy. Litter not only spoils the park for others but can also create safety and environmental concerns.

Please take a moment to use the bin provided or take your rubbish home if the bin is full.

A small effort from everyone helps keep the play area clean, safe and welcoming for all.

Thank you to the many residents who already help care for our community spaces. ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ• Have Your Say on Dog Fouling in West Oxfordshire

West Oxfordshire District Council is consulting on a proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) aimed at tackling dog fouling across the district.

The proposal would make it an offence for anyone in charge of a dog to fail to remove dog waste from public spaces. The consultation is now open and residents are encouraged to share their views.

๐Ÿ“… Consultation closes: 4 September 2026

From TVP West Oxfordshire

From PCSO Moulding,
Over the last few months, Bampton has experienced some ongoing Anti social behaviour (ASB) in and around the town.
We have made enquiries involving CCTV, and reports from residents in the town.

Now completed the individuals concerned have all been issued Acceptable behaviour contracts (ABC) for 12months, these are NOT criminalising the individuals but set in place a set of acceptable rules in which to adhere too in public places.

These contracts all have to be signed by parents and the children themselves once they acknowledge and understand the contract, it is a first step to warning them that future behaviours will not be tolerated and potentially could see themselves in the criminal justice system, it is a helpful tool also allowing the individual to not rise to peer pressure on the basis of this contract, using it as a tool to say NO to others who may carry on committing ASB.

These contracts are not suited for every case of ASB but can give those who are close to criminal activity a chance to reflect and improve.
Thank you.
