Great effort by a great team made the event the success it was👏👏

Watch Commander Kevin Smith with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Banff Fire Station, Scotland), who coordinated our recent CrashLIVE driving experience for S5/6, was invited to receive an Outstanding Contribution plaque from Banff Academy in recognition of his team's contribution to our learning community 👏

Delighted to catch up with Monty the black lab and his owner. They were in to thank the crews for saving Monty at the Bridge of Alvah a few weeks ago. Happy to say he has made a full recovery after his 50ft fall.

Over the past two days, we’ve been proud to deliver CRASH LIVE 2026 at Banff Academy — the first event of its kind in Scotland.
Through a powerful multi-agency demonstration, students were given a real insight into the consequences of road traffic collisions and the importance of making safe choices.
A huge thank you to Adam for sharing his life-changing experience as a passenger in an RTC — a story that truly resonated with everyone in the room.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the family of Jay Cameron, who tragically lost his life in 2009 at just 17 years old, through no fault of his own. Their courage in sharing their experience delivered a message that will stay with students long beyond the event.
Thank you to the staff at Banff Academy for their support, and to the students for their maturity and engagement throughout.

Tonight, we had the pleasure of presenting the funds raised from our Annual Christmas Charity Collection to our incredibly deserving chosen charities, who kindly joined us for a photo 🎅🏼🎄

We are truly blown away by the continued support from the communities of Banff, Whitehills, Ladysbridge and beyond. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £5,000 this year! 👏🏻

Not only are we incredibly grateful, but this total also breaks our previous record — making it the highest amount we’ve ever raised in a single year! ⭐️

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this possible.

The charities who have each received a share of the funds are:

🔴 Fire Fighters Charity
🔴 Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust
🔴 Doocot View, Banff
🔴 Whitehills Public Hall
🔴 Friends of Anchor
🔴 Doodlebugs Macduff
🔴 Second Chance

From everyone at Banff and all of our chosen charities, thank you once again for your generosity and support 👏🏻

We look forward to seeing you all again this Christmas! 🎅🏼🎄🚒⭐️
