Fraserburgh and District Community Planning

Fraserburgh and District Community Planning This is the page for you to engage with Fraserburgh and district community planning.

The Banff and Buchan Community Planning Group brings together, on a regular basis, local services with our local communities to share their knowledge, skills and resources to help identify and address the needs and concerns of the Banff and Buchan area. We hope that with your support we can build on our achievements and that, based on what has been achieved to date, you will let us have your idea

s on new priorities that we should consider in the future. By letting us know what you want you can help to influence the way the Community Planning Partners respond to the aspirations and needs of the people and communities in Banff & Buchan. NESCOL will be offering another NOLB ICDL Essentials course starting from 22nd September 2026 at their Fraserburgh campus – see flyer for details. This course is ideal for anyone looking for a computing/IT qualification for their CV (it is still the qualification many employers ask for as proof of digital competency). Also good for anyone looking to brush up on their IT skills in general. Thereafter, they can then move onto our ICDL Advanced course.

Are you a parent or carer in Aberdeenshire? The Aberdeenshire Getting It Right For Every Child Mental Health Group is asking parents and carers to share their views on the support available to help children and young people stay happy, healthy and well.

By taking a short survey, you can help us understand the challenges families face and what information, advice and support would make the biggest difference.

Your feedback will help shape future planning and improve support for families across Aberdeenshire.

There are separate surveys for different age groups. Please complete the surveys that match your child or children:

👶 Early Years (0–5)
📚 Primary (P1–P7)
🎓 Secondary (S1–S6)
