Use layers of dry blankets or coats to warm the person. Cover the person's head, leaving only the face exposed. Insulate the person's body from the cold ground. Here we are demonstrating the use of Blizzard 2 Layer Compact Trauma Blanket from Blizzard Protection Systems over warm dry clothing.
What about base layers? Base layers are a great piece of equipment but when wet through moisture such as sweat can cause major issues on keeping the casualty warm. Remove all wet clothing before dry blankets.
