Owen Jones put together a cracking little run during his 48‑hour stay on Peg 3, landing three fish that showed the peg’s form perfectly.

* 21lb 8oz Common — the first of the session, slipping up around midnight, a proper wake‑up call to start the trip.
* 25lb 10oz Mirror — the biggest of the bunch, coming the next morning.
* 22lb Mirror — the final fish, turning up late afternoon in the rain, rounding off the session in style.

Billy Stuart on Peg 1 put together a tidy little hit. A 24lb 8oz, a 19lb and two more he didn’t weigh, all coming from four rod‑lengths out into the middle.

He mixed it up with fluoro pop‑ups, dumbbells and wafters, all fished on a scaled‑down Ronnie rig with light 0.5–1oz leads to keep things subtle in the pressured water.

Small PVA mesh bags of pellet and crumb sealed the deal. Lovely bit of fishing.

Hi all,

Bank Holiday Weekend Update

It’s a busy one here at the fishery, the Carp Lake is fully booked, with the only availability left on Monday if you fancy squeezing in a session.

Our cottages are fully booked too, with plenty of guests settling in for a long, relaxing weekend.

Saturday is the last Burger Night of the summer at the Lakeside Café, and we’re making it a good one. There’s a special burger offer from 6pm for anglers, just ask one of the team and they’ll look after you.

The lakeside cafe is open bank holiday Monday too.

Over on the Coarse Ponds, the gates open bright and early at 7am, and close at 8.30pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the bank holiday sunshine. 👀

The carp lake is absolutely fishing its head off!

Nathaniel and Tom jumped on Pegs 3 & 4 and put together a session that was nothing short of relentless. 13 fish in total, proper nonstop action!

Toby’s Fish at 31lb 4oz, landed by Nathaniel
Samson at 25lb 8oz, landed by Tom

Tom also chipped in with a cracking 26lb 9oz Common, his biggest of the trip.

And you know it’s a serious session when the lads are slipping low 20s straight back without even bothering to weigh them.

First time on the venue and what a way to introduce themselves. Marshal hitting seven fish including “Luna” which is now his PB! Louis adding a bonus common to round things off.
