The kids are back at school this week which means that Toddler Rhyme Time and Bounce and Rhyme are BACK at Barnoldswick Library 🙌

🪇 Wednesdays 2.15-3pm
Toddler Rhyme Time

Aimed at toddler and preschoolers

Expect singing, dancing, nursery rhymes, parachute and scarf play followed by a story bubbles and stickers. Great for those who have outgrown bounce and rhyme and want a bit more movement and variety

🪇 Thursdays 11-11.30
Bounce and Rhyme

Aimed at babies from birth up to around 18 months (or as long as they are enjoying the sessions)

Expect nursery rhymes and songs followed by bubbles and stickers. A lovely way to connect with your baby and other parents and carers afterwards

Siblings welcome at both sessions
Free with no booking required, just turn up

It’s the last library at the beach session this morning! Head down there for 10.30-11.30 to join the gang to make these little creatures and have a story 🐢🐠

There are two more Thursday morning Reading Heroes sessions left of the holidays

Thursday 20th 10.30-11.30 ‘Go on a mission to measure’
Make paper aeroplanes and rockets and see how far you can make them fly

Thursday 27th 10.30-11.30 ‘Play a game using numbers’
Join Babs and Hazel for the final session of the summer for a family game of bingo with prizes!

Don’t forget there is still time to complete the reading challenge and claim your prizes. You have until 30th SEPTEMBER to read your books and enter the LEGO prize draw

Linda and Hazel are back at the beach on Monday morning with crafts and stories. The weather may have turned but they will be undercover (as is the beach!)

On Thursday this week they will be making paper rockets and aeroplanes and seeing how far they can fly!

Week 4 of the holidays!

Join Sarah and Linda at the beach on Monday to make jiggling fish and rainbow oysters

Head to the library on Thursday to ‘create or crack a coded message’ as part of our Reading Heroes challenges. If you haven’t joined the summer reading challenge you have until the end of September so it’s not too late!
