I was born and raised in Barnsley. I’ve seen this town change — and not for the better. We’re a proud, working-class community that’s been ignored, let down, and pushed aside by a Labour-run council that no longer represents the people it's meant to serve.

That ends now.

If you elect me, I will fight for Barnsley people first. Not for big-city agendas. Not for outside interests. For us.

🛑 I will stop hotels and HMO's being filled with migrants, while local families wait for housing.

🛑 I will tackle the drug use and street violence that’s making people feel unsafe.

🛑 I will oppose the push for Digital IDs and any form of top-down surveillance state.

🛑 I will stand against political indoctrination in our schools — including inappropriate teaching on sexuality and gender ideology to young children.

✅ I will protect our Green Belt and stop overdevelopment that strains our schools, doctors, and hospitals.

✅ I will invest in our roads and infrastructure, which have been left to rot while your taxes keep rising.

This is about taking pride in where we live again. It's about putting Barnsley people first, not last.

Losing Our Voice: The Erosion of Freedom and Privacy in the UK

In recent years, the UK's proud tradition of free speech has faced increasing pressure. Under the guise of “safety” and “misinformation control,” new laws and policies have begun to blur the line between protecting the public and policing opinion. What was once open debate is now often met with censorship or punitive measures, chilling the voices of those who question official narratives or challenge mainstream consensus.

Compounding this issue is the government’s push for a digital identity system — a scheme that, while marketed as a convenience or security measure, poses serious risks to our privacy and civil liberties. A digital ID could link every citizen’s personal data — financial records, medical history, online activity — to a single trackable profile. With that level of surveillance, the state gains unprecedented control over what we say, do, and even think online.

This isn't about paranoia. It's about principle. Freedom of speech and the right to privacy are the foundations of a democratic society. If we allow them to be eroded in silence, we may soon find ourselves unable to speak at all.
