Thank you for following our page everyone, we really appreciate it. Last week, over 7 days, was another busy week for our Parish Cllrs.
This post is not intended to give them a pat on the back, although they deserve one along with every volunteer in the village who do so much to keep it welcoming, perform tasks & deter social isolation. This post is to recognise that our Parish Councillors care deeply about our village and actively volunteer & support it in many ways. It also recognises that they don’t just turn up for Parish Council meetings and carry out Parish Council duties only.
Being a Parish Councillor is a voluntary position and all are real people with real village commitment towards its residents & what the village has to offer them on an ongoing basis.
We could keep sharing their hours & volunteering on a weekly basis but we’ll leave it here because most of it is done quietly and that’s what they prefer but it’s important to recognise how busy they do, in the village on our behalf on a very regular basis. Neither do they do this on their own, they team work & support other volunteer groups 🙏🏼
