Entries close at midnight 1st June, we will then concentrate on plotting the map and getting all of our amazing scarecrow displays on there.

We've been told many times that people love coming along to our scarecrow festival, it's a yearly fun event for everyone.........We've so much planned for this year.....

Paddington really enjoyed our festival a couple of years ago, especially when he won a lovely shiny medal🏅

📢 JUST 3 WEEKS LEFT TO ENTER YOUR SCARECROW DISPLAY📢
Who's joining in this year 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We've had a few entries and a couple of newbies, thank you so much for entering and supporting this brilliant community event🥰 you really do make a difference

Did you know when you enter a display you're not only in with a chance of winning 1st(£75)2nd(£50) or 3rd(£25)prizes. You're also helping us provide a fantastic purse friendly day out for the local community. We do fundraising all year and also source local funding to enable us to do this.
Money raised from map sales,coffee mornings and fundraising is given back to the community by donating this to our local school and of course our fabulous exodus project.
Families can come along, buy a trail map and enjoy hunting scarecrows as well as all the free activities at the exodus project(Jenny's Field)

To do all this we need SCARECROWS.

After all you can't have a scarecrow festival without them!!

It's free to enter, we love them all no matter how big or small and you're helping your community in the process.

We can provide free wood and straw and a little guidance if needed, just ask.

You can post entries to any of the addresses on the forms or email a photo of your filled out form to [email protected].

Good morning from South Hiendley Scarecrow Crew!

By now everyone should have received entry forms, have you received yours?

Forms need to be completed and all entry forms in by the 1st June.

Of course it goes without saying that you can't have a scarecrow festival without scarecrows. By entering a display you are helping us provide a low cost, local, fun day out for all the family and also making the village look lovely.

You can post your entry to one of the addresses on the form, we've made it so there's an address at either end of the village.
You can also take a photograph of your entry and email it to us at [email protected], or message us on our page
