This is your last chance to explore the Pride of Yorkshire trail as it comes to a close this Sunday! 🦁

There’s twenty life-sized lion and lioness sculptures across the borough as part of Pride of Yorkshire, a free sculpture trail celebrating 150 years of Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital.

From The Glass Works to Pen*stone Paramount and from Monk Bretton Priory to Goldthorpe, the sculptures are in the pawfect locations across the borough for you to explore. Make sure to check them out before it's too late!

We’re very excited to see what the young people have organised working with Jolly Good Communities for their Barnsley RISE Festival - Powered by young people for young people on 21st of August 4-9pm at Monk Bretton Priory!

Please help support them. Poster in the comments and they even have funding for 1,000 free meals for kids aged 3-18

Some of you may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet recently. We (Victoria and family) have had some tough times recently but we are trying to stay positive and focus on the great work we do with our volunteers.

Due to needing some time off and a holiday we booked back in January to Northumberland we are a bit behind with our community work so we are needing some help with reaching our followers at the moment.

Over the next few weeks you’ll be seeing posts about our summer calendar of events and activities, ticket sales for our Birds of Prey flying shows and promo for our FREE huge Barnsley RISE Festival - Powered by young people for young people funded by The Great Childhood Ambition! Please try and engage with our page as much as possible over the summer so families don’t miss out on what we know will be great times ahead.

We have plenty of acts for our stage but we’re now on the search for group performances.

Do you know any groups for young people aged 0-18 that might like to showcase themselves?

Although our stage is nearly full. We still have space for group arena displays!
