Barnsley Council North Area Team We work with the electoral wards of Athersley and New Lodge, Darton East, Darton West and Old Town to assist communities on behalf of Barnsley Council.

Supporting residents, community groups and Councillors, working together to improve our communities and the quality of life for people who live here. We work with the communities of Darton, Mapplewell, Staincross, Woolley Colliery, Kexborough, Barugh, Barugh Green, Redbrook, Gawber, Wilthorpe, Smithies, Pogmoor, Honeywell, Old Town, New Lodge, Athersley North, and Athersley South. The team is made

up of Rosie Adams, Lee Swift and Rebecca Battye. Get in touch with us if you'd like to know more about our work, or how you could get involved in helping our community. Looking for a fun way to stay active and meet new people? Join the Dance Social at Roundhouse Library every Friday from 1pm to 3pm.

Open to anyone aged 50 and over, this free weekly session is a great opportunity to enjoy music, make friends and have a dance in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

No booking required. Just come along and join in.
