A Call for Books: Helping Our Holly Bush Park Library Thrive
Our little book‑exchange library in Holly Bush Park has quickly become one of the most loved features of the playground. Children have been eager to take home stories and explore new adventures — a wonderful sign that the idea is working.

However, there’s one small challenge: while many books have been taken and enjoyed, very few have been returned. To keep the library going, we now need the community’s help.

If you have any unwanted children’s books suitable for ages up to 11, we would be delighted to give them a new home. Simply place them in the exchange box at Holly Bush Park, where other children can discover and enjoy them.

For anyone who prefers to drop donations off indoors, books can also be brought to the Hall on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 11 am.

With your support, we can keep this lovely community project alive and ensure that every child who visits Holly Bush Park has the joy of finding a new story to read.

Come along and join us for our Alzeimers Tea party. This will be running in conjunction with our seniors tea party. Everyone, young and old, is welcome to come along and support this excellent cause.

IMPORTANT UDATE
Last night the Parish Hall was broken into. The safe was taken and a small amount of damage has been done.

We would like to thank the local resident who called the police during the incident and the swift action of the Police. Unfortunately, although they were extremely speedy in getting to the hall they missed them by about 1 minute.

The police have the CCTV evidence, and we have the security system showing that they knew exactly where they were going to find the safe, which is a concern that it is someone who knows the hall.

To the ******** who did this I hope you realise that you are not stealing from us but from the local residents and users of the hall, some of whom could be your friends or family.
