Pack your bags and hold onto your hats - the race is on!

Join a fearless troupe of actor-musicians as they hurtle across continents in this riotously entertaining, globetrotting show inspired by Jules Verne’s much-loved classic.

With the clock ticking, Phileas Fogg and his quick-thinking companions attempt the impossible: travelling around the world in just 80 days.

Expect dazzling live music, outrageous characters and inventive storytelling as London, Bombay and beyond burst into life. Featuring trains, boats and plenty of theatrical mayhem, this joyful open-air adventure is packed with fun, flair and surprise at every turn.

Based on the novel by Jules Verne, Adapted by Chris Fung, Directed by Tara Noonan.

An Exploration of Fate, Society, and Nature.
Thomas Hardy’s ‘The Return of the Native’ is a profound exploration of human desires and the indomitable forces that shape destiny. Set against the haunting backdrop of Egdon Heath, the novel tells the story of Eustacia Vye, a young woman whose passionate longing for escape and fulfilment drives the narrative inevitably towards it’s tragic conclusion.
With live music, high energy, multi role playing, humour and inventiveness, yet another English classic novel is brought wonderfully to life-Hotbuckle style!

We’re delighted to be hosting another summer season of open‑air theatre in the beautiful grounds of Castle Hill.

From lively afternoon performances to magical evenings on the lawn, the grounds come alive with stories, laughter, and the joy of shared experiences.

Whether you’re joining us for a family adventure, a classic tale, or a moment of pure escapism, there’s something special about watching theatre surrounded by nature. Bring a picnic, gather your favourite people, and make a day of it. Every performance feels like its own little celebration.

Mark your diaries for both July 16th performances, when a delicious Castle Hill BBQ will be served.

What better way to spend a few hours than walking the grounds of Castle Hill Gardens, followed by lunch in our Tea Room.

Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee from our new coffee machine, a piece of indulgent cake or treat yourself to a homemade lunch.

Amongst the wonderful selection on our new menu, you will find an array of sandwiches, soups, cakes, and delicious quiches all made onsite in our new kitchen.

We are open Monday to Friday 11am to 4pm. We look forward to welcoming you.
