Making it into the mess is a massive milestone, It's the hardest club to join in the world, it's members spend over a decade of hard work and military service to earn their way in. So, enjoy it and celebrate on your success.

Congratulations to Lt Duncan Smith 29 Regiment RLC 2Lt Oliver Pritchard CLR and Lt Hargreaves of 17 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC, Marchwood . Today these Officers completed 30 miles in 8 hours of endurance marching over Dartmoor, the final Commando test which concluded their Commando training and awarded them the Green beret. -!-

Members of Logistic Support Squadron have recently been conducting arduous training in Scotland. Here they have undertaken necessary training in the mountain and cold weather environment, building on the physical and mental resilience to operate in the Arctic. At this time, LS Sqn RLC soldiers are integrated into the newly formed LRG CSS Troops, delivering support and innovation within supply in Arctic Norway.

For the past eight weeks, 18 members from LS Sqn (CSS Tp 2) have been supporting elements of 3Cdo Brigade on exercise Green Dagger in California USA.

This was a joint exercise with 7th Marines, USMC 🇺🇸

First couple of weeks was used to train personnel, on both forces equipment and vehicles. Then going into CQB trg and finally the exercise began.

Good effort lads, now the trips ashore have ended, and your pockets full with LSA, time to look forward to Norway 2022 👏

Today 13 members of LS Sqn competed within the RLC Corps Volleyball competition.

With limited amount of practice (one sports afternoon) and once people got to grips how to serve, the team resulted in securing Minor Unit runners up.

Dieppe Troop (Formarlly Pet Troop) have been busy the past month on Ex Fuels Regain, a trade exercise used as an upgrade from class 3 to 2 and testing real time scenario for the JNCO's.

The exercise was from 20 Sep 21 to 17 Oct 21, and utilised an abundance of equipment mainly PBFI, ESM, Onload and intra Nodal pipeline.

LS Sqn has some amazing trips planned for 2022, it is shaping up to being an exciting place to serve and remains on the leading edge of innovative logistics.

Well done to members of the Sqn that attended the RLC military skills competition and achieved minor unit winners 2021. A great effort by all involved in putting together a winning team at short notice, whilst the majority of the Sqn are deployed overseas.
