🥕 Guinea pigs’ teeth never stop growing - so munching is important!

🍊 Just like us, they can’t make their own Vitamin C, so they need it in their diet.

💨 When they’re really happy, they can jump and twist in the air - it’s called popcorning!

☀️ THAT’S A WRAP FOR SUMMER! ☀️

And what a summer it’s been! 💚

From hosting the Picnic of Hope for Morgan’s Army to Feel Good Friday, Bee Happy Day, our Dog Show, Mini Vets, Woodland Wednesdays and finally our Teddy Bears’ Picnic - we’ve loved every minute!

A huge THANK YOU to every organisation, local business and wonderful individual who has supported us along the way, and to our amazing staff and volunteers who have worked so hard to make it all happen. 💚

But the biggest thank you goes to YOU - our fabulous visitors!
Seeing you enjoying the animals, exploring the woodland, joining in with activities and making memories around the Farm is what summer here is all about. 🌳🐐🦙

And remember, every visit helps support our charity and the work we do with our young people.

🐾 Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

They say a dog is man’s best friend… and we can certainly see why! ❤️🐶

Here at Amelia Trust Farm, dogs are part of the day out too! Bring your four-legged friend along to explore the Farm with you - we just ask that dogs are kept on a lead while visiting. 🌿🐾

And if they need to burn off a little extra energy, why not book our secure Dog Field? With plenty of space to run, sniff and play off-lead, it’s the perfect place for some doggy freedom! 🐕💨

But today is also a lovely opportunity to think about the dogs who haven’t yet found their best friend. ❤️

We were delighted to welcome some of the gorgeous dogs from Cardiff Dogs Home, The Rescue Hotel to our Dog Show this summer, including the beautiful Jelly Bean. 🐶

Not every dog is lucky enough to have a family of their own, and the wonderful team at Cardiff Dogs Home work so hard to care for the dogs who come through their doors and help them find the forever homes they deserve.

If you’re thinking about sharing your life with a dog and have the time, patience and love to give, why not take a look at some of the beautiful faces currently waiting for their forever families? You never know who you might fall in love with. ❤️
